HandPies Holiday Ornament - White Quilted & Plaid HOLLY
A handmade stuffed ornament for your tree, to hang on a doorknob, adorn a package or place anywhere in your decor for a little holiday happiness. This collection has a rustic, sentimental vibe, reminiscent of old-fashioned holidays where handmade decorations are the star of the show. We call them HandPies because they’re poufy and crimped around the edges with a hand-worked blanket stitch…they just look like little handpies :)
The White Quilted & Plaid Holly features a base made from a repurposed white quilted coverlet, with a raw-edge applique holly leaf of holiday plaid in red, green, white and gold. A running stitch worked by hand in green floss secures the holly, and the design is embellished with hand embroidery and sparkly beads, each secured by hand stitching. A red cording loop is attached at the top for hanging. The back of the ornament is the same holiday plaid as the front appliqued holly leaf.
